Requirements

  • Minimum of High School Diploma

  • At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with Autism or intellectual or developmental disabilities.

  • Bachelor's in human services or Behavioral Science degree preferred

  • Upon hire RBT certification is required

  • Obtain and maintain annual CPR/First Aid certification, TB Screening, and background checks

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Reports to supervising BCBA/BCaBA as outlined in BACB regulations

  • Provides 1:1 ABA therapy in a KSC clinic

  • Follows and implements individualized treatment programs with evidence based activities to address goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan developed by the supervising BCBA

  • Collects and accurately documents data during all direct sessions for the purpose of monitoring patient progress towards goals

  • Provides regular written and verbal feedback to caregivers and the supervising BCBA/BCaBA

  • Attends and actively participates in supervision with supervising BCBA/BCaBA and seeks consultation when necessary

  • Communicates any caregiver questions/concerns to supervising BCBA/BCaBA in a respectful and confidential manner

  • Communicates any personal concerns regarding patient treatment plans to the supervising BCBA/BCaBA in a respectful and confidential manner

  • Completes all required documentation in accordance with policy timeline

  • Collaborates with supervising BCBA/BCaBA to distribute homework for each patient, at minimum, 1x monthly

  • Maintains a program binder for each patient

  • Completes periodic training and skill maintenance in various assessments and evidence based programming such as VB-MAPP, STAR Program, AFLS, etc.

  • Uses professional language when completing all documentation

  • Completes all other job duties assigned by direct supervisor and clinic manager
